Notice to Mariners No. 75 of 2026 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – GULF ST VINCENT – METROPOLITAN COAST – GLENELG – DREDGING OPERATIONS

Mariners are advised that the water depths of the entrance channel to the Holdfast Shores Marina (Glenelg) have reduced considerably due to significant seasonal sand and seagrass wrack ingress, resulting in shallowing and narrowing of the marina channel entrance.

Dredging is currently in progress to rectify the problem.

Mariners are advised to exercise extreme caution when navigating in the area.
