Notice to Mariners No. 72 of 2026 (Temporary)
SOUTH AUSTRALIA – GULF ST VINCENT – PORT ADELAIDE HARBOR– NORTH HAVEN - DREDGING OPERATIONS
Mariners are advised that dredging operations will occur from September to mid December 2026, in the North Haven Marina channel and entrance.
Dredging operations may be conducted up to 24hrs/ 7days a week.
The discharge site will be marked with yellow surface floats (FI Y3s) and is located approximately 600 North-West (seaward) of the marina entrance.

The discharge pipeline trails up to 1200m from the dredge and is normally resting on the seabed. However, the discharge pipeline is floated at certain times to facilitate dredge movements. In these times a SECURITE warning will be issued on VHF channel 16.
Mariners using the North Haven marina entrance are advised to exercise caution when navigating this area.
