Notice of safety direction: No. 01 of 2026

Section 67A of the Harbors and Navigation Act 1993
No vessels - Stony Point, Port Bonython
Mariners are advised that no vessel fitted with an engine shall enter into, be operated, remain or be moored anywhere within the waters of the marked area within Stony Point adjacent to the Cuttlefish Sanctuary Zone within the harbor of Port Bonython.
This area of water, marked with unlit buoys, commences at the shore and extends 100 metres from the shore. This area is bounded by the following coordinates:
- 32° 59' 44" S 137° 45' 05" E
- 32° 59' 48" S 137° 45' 05" E
- 32° 59' 47" S 137° 45' 02" E
- 32° 59' 44" S 137° 45' 02" E
Operations and conditions
This Notice is subject to the following conditions:
- This Notice of Direction is in operation for 12 months from the date of gazettal or until varied or revoked by a subsequent Notice of Safety Direction;
- All other provisions of the Harbors and Navigation Act 1993 and Harbors and Navigation Regulations 2023 will continue to apply.
