Notice to Mariners No. 38 of 2026

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – ST VINCENT GULF – WIRRINA COVE – INSTALLATION OF ARTIFICIAL REEF

Mariners are advised that an artificial reef, consisting of pre-cast concrete modules will be installed in St Vincent Gulf, North of the Wirrina Cove Marina in position 35°27'14" S, 138°12′25” E, commencing on 19 May 2026 will now be completed by June 2026.

The reef consists of individual concrete modules up to 2.1m above the seabed placed in clusters within a 70m x 70m quadrant which is centred at the above coordinates.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution when transiting the area.
