Web cam network expansion
Thursday 18 December 2025
We have expanded the coastal camera network. This will help recreational boaters and beachgoers to safely use the state’s waterways and beaches.
The extra cameras will provide live views of sea conditions and the impact of the algal bloom.
We worked closely with Surf Life Saving South Australia and local councils to identify suitable sites across the state.
Nine cameras are now live, stretching along the coast from North Haven to Goolwa:
- North Haven Beach
- Semaphore Park Beach
- Glenelg North Beach
- Glenelg Beach
- Brighton Beach
- Seacliff Beach
- O’Sullivan Beach
- Port Elliot Beach
- Goolwa Beach.
More cameras will be installed in early 2026.
