Notice to Mariners No. 68 of 2025 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – GULF ST VINCENT – WONGA SHOAL – BUOY OUT OF POSITION AND LIGHT NOT WORKING

Mariners are advised that the Wonga Shoal Buoy light (Fl Y 5s, range 2 nautical miles) has stopped working and the buoy has been dragged to a new location approximately 0.4 nautical miles in ENE direction.

The buoy is currently located in approximate position 34° 49’ 50.4” S 138° 26’ 30.96” E.

The light will be replaced and the buoy repositioned at earliest convenience.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area.
